Join the Nordics Club at Geneva Cave Ouvertes 2024!

 Experience the best of Geneva’s wineries with the Nordics Club at the Cave Ouvertes on May 25th. Discover fine wines, beautiful vineyards, and great company.

Join us for a delightful day of wine discovery and camaraderie at the Geneva Cave Ouvertes on Saturday, 25th of May 2024. This annual event is a perfect opportunity for wine enthusiasts and novices alike to explore the rich tapestry of local wineries Geneva has to offer.

Come and join us to taste some wines! Per request, we are this year visiting Jussy region, and at least the following wineyards: Les Vins de la Gara & Domaine Chateau du Crest. We have been told that the ambience is fabulous!

Practical Details:

  • Date: Saturday, 25th of May 2024
  • Meeting Point: Gare Cornavin, on platform 2 
  • Time: We will meet at 11:10. Look for the Nordic flags! Train departure is 11:17!

Transports/Meeting Points:

Meeting points are as follows (look for nordics flags) — NOTE PLATFORM IN GENEVE:

  1.  Nyon at platform 1 at 10:50 for prompt train at 10:55
  2. Cornavin at platform 2 at 11:10 for from 11:17 train from Geneve to Chene Bourg
  3. At 11:35 in Chene-Bourg – expecting to catch 11:56 bus Number 32 to Jussy, chateau (but meet us early – we will catch the first available transport!)
  4. 12:15 meet in Jussy to go to first wineyard

A normal TPG ticket for Geneva covers the transport. It might be advisable to buy a day pass (CHF 5.60 with demi-tariff).

The event lasts until late afternoon / early evening. Return to Geneva at individual basis…

About the Event: Geneva’s Cave Ouvertes is a storied tradition, inviting locals and visitors to venture into the heart of the region’s winemaking culture. Participating wineries open their doors to the public, offering free tastings of their latest vintages and a peek into the winemaking process.
